Abs… pain!

Today’s gym workout:

Pre-workout:

  • 1 medium banana
  • 1 double shot espresso with soy milk

Cardio:

  • 10 mins elliptical cross trainer, resistance 8
  • 10 mins rowing machine, top resistance 10
  • 10 mins upright stationary bike, resistance 13

1st cycle strength:

  • 10 under grip assisted chins, 26kg assistance
  • 10 chest push ups, on toes
  • ¬†20 squats, 20kg weight
  • Core work, 60 sec hold each for (1) Plank (2) Side plank (3) Table top

Repeat total 3 cycles, except

  • 2nd cycle: substitute 10 lunges each leg, 20kg weight
  • 3rd cycle: substitute 20 squats, 20kg weight, then 20 Romanian dead lifts with 20kg weight

Stretch

PS: first dedicated abs work since pregnant. NEARLY DIED!
PPS: I know some of you are laughing at the lameness of my ‘abs workout’… I’ve never been an abs person, now even less so!
